Paper Boat

Me and my mum decided to make some origami paper boats and then we went down to dixon park and went down by the creek. The first two we launched went wellish. It was the pink one (my mums) and the the big white one (mine). The pink one sunk immediately and the white one sped ahead. Then we released the small white one (mine) and the green one (my mums). It looked like the green one was going to speed up and leave the little white one in its tracks but then the little white one sped straight up to the big white one
and it turns out the big white one that was head got stuck in a reverse current. The big white started to sink
and got stuck under water. The small white seemed to be ahead of the green boat by a little bit. The green boat capsized and was upside down most of the time.  We then fished out the big white and threw it off the bridge in shame since it lost. We then left and started making some new ones by making improvements to the design of out old ones. My mum put a sail on hers and i but a flag on mine. I put fins on the bottom of my new yellow boat hoping for a good result. We then went back down but up closer to some rapids. I started by putting in a small jet boat like one that i made and set it of with another pink one like the first one. Obviously the pink one flopped on its side and sunk because of its weak frame and the jet boat went flying up ahead hitting the rapids with speed. I then went with my yellow one with a flag (mine) and my mums orange one with her sail. We thought the sail might give it an advantage but it kept going side ways. As for my yellow the fins on the bottom started hitting the rocks at the bottom and then it went all floppy and sunk immediately. The only ones left were my mums and the jet boat. The jet boat was way ahead like way ahead. It was at least 20 meters away from the orange boat. My mums one we had to eventually take that sail off because it kept going side ways. It eventually stopped moving and just sat there. The jet boat made it under the bridge. Since the current was so slow under there it would have taken 10 minutes just to make it all the way under. So we left. Later it turns out the the little white boat might not have bet the green boat. We later found it wedged and tangled in grass and rocks. WE have no evidence the green boat passed it but because we could not find it. The pink boat passed the small white boat because it was pushed along the rocks but the current but at the start it had sunken so that does not count. After that we went home.
